Clean up your act with beauty brands that give back to Mother Earth

I think all of us strive to be a little bit more organic every day. I know many of us are far from the ideal but that shouldn’t deter you from doing it.

When it comes to beauty products, I feel like it’s easy. There are a lot of brands to choose from these days. Cult and hard-to-find products are becoming more mainstream while new brands are coming in with a strong organic and cruelty-free mantra.

I recently picked up something new from Neal’s Yard Remedies that are not only for moms but for babies. They carry products like Mother’s Balm that’s good for stretch marks and Mother’s Bath Oil with bergamot and ylang-ylang which has a relaxing effect.

For babies, I think moms would be happy to know that their items such as the Organic Baby Powder, Organic Baby Soap, and Baby Barrier Cream are good for sensitive skin and are made of organic ingredients. You don’t have to worry about your little tike as you take care of them via natural ingredients like beeswax, chamomile, and shea butter.

Another brand to check out is Juice Beauty. I like their approach to makeup as it’s primarily driven by skincare first. The brand believes in vegan and cruelty-free practices.

I would suggest if you have sensitive skin, to try out their Phyto Pigment Flawless Serum Foundation. The foundation contains hydrating coconut alkanes and antioxidants so you get some skincare with the coverage.

For everyday body needs, there’s always The Body Shop. You get a lot of products which come from nature. One new release is the Himalayan Charcoal Purifying Face Wash. It contains It has bamboo charcoal from the Himalayan foothills, kaolin clay and community-trade tea tree oil from Kenya.

Briogeo is a hair brand to look out for when you have access to it. They carry selections for every other hair type including curly hair and colored hair. I think this is why they are a beauty vlogger favorite.

You will find that their products have no harsh sulfates, silicones or parabens. They are also cruelty-free and ethically sourced.

My last suggestion would be RMS Beauty is my final pick for this roundup. They use recycled glass and lids for the packaging and ingredients that are GMO-, soy- and nano-free. They are also cruelty-free. Celebrities who love RMS Beauty include Emma Watson who has the Living Luminizer. Their most popular product is the Un-Cover Up concealer.
