In the run-up to Valentine’s Day, I thought about how one should prepare for the big day. Most likely, you’re going to dinner with your significant other. When dining out, there are a few dishes that kill the mood a little bit. No idea what I am talking about? I’m referring to how some dishes might prevent you from getting close with your partner. On any other day, this would be great. But when on a romantic dinner, I warn you against these culinary choices.
This includes ramen and most savory Filipino fare. Garlic makes food delicious but it also leave a smell that lingers long and won’t go away with a simple mint. I think I don’t need to explain myself why you should steer clear of this on Valentine’s Day.
Beans are filling and are even found in some desserts. But you might want to skip on this if you want to avoid being gassy.
Perhaps a bite of kimchi won’t be of harm but if a full spicy dish will make you regret it as soon as your significant other wants to get close.
There’s no cute way to eat them with your hands. Don’t even try.
You won’t be able to smile after. It also is a mood breaker when you constantly have to check your teeth as you eat. Also something difficult to eat if you’re wearing something white.
