This weekend, I’ll admit that I have been scrolling through social media to see the scenes at Princess Eugenie’s royal wedding. The ninth in line to the British throne, cousin of Prince William and Prince Harry, tied the knot to Jack Brooksbank. As with any royal wedding, we can’t wait to see what the guests are wearing. And just like the recent royal weddings we’ve seen, it’s a red carpet of sorts, with good fashion moments here and there.

My attention went to how there will always be fascinators on this occasion. A piece of millinery, its history is in European customs reserved for the royalty and also with Christian ties. It usually highlights the big hairstyles from the Renaissance era. These days, it’s customary to wear a fascinator in certain occasions…like a royal wedding. You can definitely it signifies a status symbol. I can’t also think of another time nor reason to wear a fascinator.
At Princess Eugenie and Jack Brooksbank’s wedding, the fascinators were present and they usually topped off a beautiful look from a fascinating guest.
I liked Naomi Campbell’s fascinator, made by Philip Treacy to match her Ralph and Russo dress.

Poppy Delevingne went all floral with her fascinator that complemented her Oscar De La Renta dress.

Designer Stella McCartney bow was a great choice, and how it matched her bag too.
