There is nothing like a good roadtrip to help you get away from it all, even just for a little while. The weekend is too short for a plane ride anyway, and sometimes, the best destinations are those corners you ignore. It could just be the small beach house a little past the metropolitan or the cold confines of a province that’s still lost in time.
Another getaway I enjoy is simple calling for a drinks night at home. Gather your closest friends, a few spirits, and your favorite delights (this day doubles as cheat day, too!) With this, you can say that the weekend didn’t go to waste and you got the break you needed.
